Awareness
Let your surroundings in when you want to stay aware.
Wider ANC coverage
What does 3 kHz mean?
ANC isn't only about how much is dampened, but also about how wide. Where the Wavell 4 Pro worked up to 1.5 kHz, Apex's coverage reaches all the way up to 3 kHz – into the frequencies where voices and sharp everyday sounds sit.

About the experience, the features and your reservation.
Why are they called Apex and not Pro?
Pro has become a name you see everywhere. With Apex we've set a higher ambition for Wavell. Our new flagship brings sound, wide noise cancellation and clear calls together in one experience. Apex means the peak. That's the level we've been working towards.
What makes the sound special?
Apex combines a 12 mm dynamic driver with an ultra-light diaphragm and a custom-developed acoustic chamber. That makes room for both the physical power of the bass and the fine nuances in the music. The sound profile is Scandinavian, fine-tuned with German engineering expertise.
What does wide ANC mean in practice?
Noise is made up of different frequencies. How many dB a pair of earbuds dampens does not alone tell you which sounds it works on. Apex has ANC coverage up to 3 kHz, so the noise cancellation also works at higher frequencies where voices and other everyday sounds sit. The maximum stated attenuation is up to 62 dB. The effect varies with the type of noise and the fit.
Can I talk on the phone when it's noisy around me?
Yes. Apex has AI noise filtering for calls and wind noise reduction.
How long does the battery last?
Up to 11 hours of music with ANC off or 7 hours with ANC on a single charge. With extra charges from the case, that becomes up to 44 hours with ANC off or 28 hours with ANC on. 10 minutes of fast charging gives up to 2 hours of playback. Battery life depends on your settings and your use.
Can I be connected to my phone and computer at the same time?
Yes. Apex supports multipoint with up to three simultaneous connections. So you can have your phone, computer and a third device connected. Audio plays from one device at a time.
Does Apex support LDAC?
Yes. Apex supports LDAC, AAC and SBC. LDAC requires that your playback device supports it too.
Can I use them for working out and in the rain?
The earbuds have IPX6 water resistance and can be used in sweat and rain. They are not intended for swimming or submersion in water.
How does the reservation work?
You reserve your spot for €1 and get the chance to buy Apex for €99 at launch on November 10, versus the regular price of €129. We send you a personal link where you choose your colour and complete the purchase. The first 100 reservations also get free Foam Ear-tips. Parcels ship on November 11.
What if I don't use my reservation?
Then you'll automatically get your €1 back. The reservation is non-binding.
What if they're not for me?
Sound and fit are personal. That's why you have a 30-day satisfaction guarantee, so you can try Apex at home after delivery and feel whether they're right for you.
